About ARKISMUN
The Abdulrahman Kanoo International School Model United Nations (ARKISMUN) conference has been running for 15 years. Renowned as the largest student-led event in the Kingdom of Bahrain. It is a conference that brings students from all over the island together to debate through the understanding and education of international relations and diplomacy.

Every year at ARKISMUN carries an identity. A concept to represent its meaning. A statement that frames how it will be remembered. But this year does not follow that pattern. There is no definition, no clear phrase, and no message already decided.
This is a theme of defiance. After fourteen years of tradition, this year does not continue for the sake of continuity. It does not present a polished identity or promise clarity.Instead, it asks what it means to move forward with legacy behind us, but not ahead of us. Without a definition to rely on, meaning is no longer passed down. it must be created.
This year, the space remains open. It is not defined by what it carries from the past, but by what it chooses to become. ARKISMUN XV exists not to follow tradition, but to question it. We do not define this year.
We let it remain… Fifteen, Undefined.
Secretary-General, Yasmine Isa
It is our pleasure to welcome you to the fifteenth edition of ARKISMUN. Over the years, this conference has grown into a platform where young leaders engage in meaningful dialogue, challenge perspectives, and shape ideas that go beyond borders.
Our theme this year, “Undefined,” reflects the ever-changing nature of our world. In times of uncertainty and rapid transformation, true leadership comes from those willing to question, redefine, and create. Through ARKISMUN, we aim to inspire delegates to embrace ambiguity and turn it into an opportunity.
We look forward to seeing your voices shape debate, your ideas inspire action, and your leadership bring new meaning to “Undefined.”
Warmest Regards,
Yasmine Isa & Ali AlQassab
